    It pays to know land owners! :)

    Here are some pictures from a weekend Koren, Andrew, Leigh and I spent putting up new routes on a private ridge near Highway 14.

This series of three pictures is of a route we called Slither 5.9+ for obvious reasons. The beginning was kind of a grunt.

Once I was out on the face the climbing was strenuous but straightforward.

Nearing the top of this 30 foot pitch.

This is Koren seconding Detour 5.10a on the back side of the ridge. I had to aid up to clean lichen on this FA but was then able to lower back down and climb the moves free. The route starts with the colorful right facing dihedral visible below.

Here is Andrew putting  up a new slab route to the right of Detour. I am not sure of the name or rating but it had runout slab climbing down low and a short overhanging hand crack up high.
